I would like to propose a new clause to Article 5 concerning Waivers. This new clause would require owners to post the contract amount of the player being waived in order for the transaction to occur. For example, if Minnesota were to waive player X, the post would have to include the player's name AND contract. The proposed new rule would read "Each waiver post must include the name of the player and their respective contract amount before the transaction can be processed."

The rationale behind this proposal is that there are instances where a player has been waived and the transaction has been processed before all owners are able to see and check the spreadsheet to determine if they want to place a claim. Therefore, the contract amount is no longer on the spreadsheet so the Proboards page has to be searched to identify the contract amount. Since we were forced to create a new Proboards page, we no longer have access to some of those records and this information is now necessary in each waiver post.
